Expanding Art Museums is a project under legislator body of Leuphana University Lüneburg.

The University of Lüneburg Foundation (a public foundation) is the sponsoring organization of Leuphana University Lüneburg (a public corporation). The foundation supports and promotes the university in fulfilling its public responsibilities, in particular the cultivation and development of science, the preparation of students for professional careers, the promotion of knowledge and technology transfer, the fostering of spin-off companies from the university, and informing the public about the fulfillment of its tasks. It is legally represented by the president, Sascha Spoun.

General content, unless otherwise stated, is represented by the Operational Management of TriCo – Transformation and Innovation in Communities and the Leuphana Innovation Community Arts and Culture at Leuphana University Lüneburg in accordance with § 18 II MStV, in person Andrea Japsen (Operational Management) and Prof. Dr. Timon Beyes (Project Director).
